Attero Group appoints two new Board Directors
Attero Group further strengthens its Board to support its continued growth in the UK and international waste, recycling and alternative fuels markets.
Doncaster based waste and recycling company, Attero Group (Attero), has today announced the appointment of Louis Calders (Commercial Director) and Martin Graves (Logistics & Operations Director) to the company’s Board.
Louis Calders joins Attero with over 25 years’ experience in the European waste derived fuels market. Prior to Attero Louis was Commercial Director of an alternative fuels export business where he was responsible establishing fully managed international SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) and RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) off-take solutions. His earlier career includes a number of senior roles in the UK recycling and resource management sector. This included over five years as director of alternative fuels for Shanks Waste Management and more recently acting as an independent consultant to some of the UKs largest SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel) and RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) producers.
Martin Graves is one of the UK’s leading authorities on terminal and port logistics. Prior to joining Attero Martin worked as freelance consultant harnessing his extensive network to find clients innovative and cost-effective routes. Martin has also held senior roles DFDS, where he was the Operations & Logistics Director, including the company’s SRF and RDF cargos. Martin’s logistics career started in 1991 following his service in the British military.
Attero currently manages over 250,000 tonnes of waste a year from its site in Doncaster, where it benefits from its own rail terminal and is a significant manufacturer of waste derived fuels for both the UK and international market. The company has approximately 70 employees and turns over in the region of £30 million.
