Eco-Power Pellets are manufactured from waste wood, paper and plastic which has undergone significant mechanical and biological treatment to remove contaminants and non-combustible materials. The fuel can then be used in pellet form or powdered and dosed using existing equipment.
Eco-Power Pellets provide our customers with a highly consistent fuel which can be manufactured to each individual user's specification.
Consistent composition with over 50% Biomass and 95% dry weight
High calorific value generating over 20MJ/kg
Low ash content
Cost-effective without the need for government subsidies
Water resistant and able to withstand abrasion resulting from transport
Can be co-dosed with fossil fuels using existing equipment
Our market leading Eco-Power Pellets provide a highly sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional fossil fuels for energy intensive industries. Our dedicated fuel production facility in Yorkshire has capacity to produce over 160,000 tonnes a year of pellets for both the domestic and international markets.

Eco-Power Pellets provide our customers with a highly consistent fuel which can be manufactured to each individual users’ specification. Benefits of our Eco-Power Pellets include:
In addition to our capability of producing Pre-Calciner grade SRF, Eco-Power Fuels also has the ability to produce a high grade SRF flock suitable for main burner applications in cement and lime kilns. Our ability to drive additional moisture from pre-processed SRF using biomass dryers enables Eco-Power Fuels to produce a consistent homogeneous fuel with a heating value in excess of 20Mj/kg.
Increasingly waste managers, businesses, householders and local authorities are looking for solutions for unwanted carpet waste.
As a business, Eco-Power Fuels recognise that carpets made from certain natural and synthetic fibres, potentially still have a recyclable value and should therefore be recycled where possible in line with the Waste Hierarchy.
There is however growing demand for solutions for mixed bulky carpet waste where recycling is not practical or possible and inevitably landfill is the only option
In these circumstances, Eco-Power Fuels are supporting businesses and local authorities by providing sustainable long-term recovery options for mixed carpet waste. The carpet waste is processed and shredded at our UK facilities and made into an alternative fuel which are utilised in cement kilns to displace fossil fuels such as coal and PET coke.
RDF is the bi-product that arises from a range of waste management processes once recyclable materials have been extracted. Most commonly however it is created from residual industrial and commercial waste, which has a low moisture content and high calorific value. The material is shredded and baled and provides a cost-effective means by which users can offset traditional fossil fuels in the production of energy.
Whilst the volume of RDF has resulted in traditional routes becoming saturated Eco-Power Group has contracts in place with a number of Energy from Waste facilities on the continent enabling customers to continue to benefit from the commercial and environmental benefits of diverting this material from landfill.
We provide shredded wood for a use in a range of applications. The majority of our wood biomass arises from the construction and demolition industry, which is mechanically processes to remove metal and other contaminates. We can provide material in a range of sizes from 100mm with the smaller sub 10mm material being used as animal bedding.
